Leadership Council

The Small, Rural and Northern Hospital Provincial Leadership Council advises the OHA on issues affecting small hospitals in Ontario, primarily those in rural and northern communities. The goals of the group are to:

• Advise and make recommendations to the OHA Advocacy Committee and OHA Board in the development of healthcare policy on issues pertaining to small, rural and northern hospitals.
• To communicate to OHA Board, government, and other relevant hospital and professional groups on issues that impact small, rural and northern hospitals.
• To provide a forum for information exchange, education, examination of issues, development of strategies and preparation of responses and recommendations.
